What is SD-WAN?
SD-WAN is short for ‘Software Defined – Wide Area Network’ which is a term used to explain when you have multiple locations connected via hardware encrypted VPN (Virtual Private Network) devices, which use a separate management agent to configure and maintain the connections. The Cisco Meraki MX Firewall range of devices all have advanced SD-WAN capabilities built into every model.
